(Watsonville, CA) Mike Randle, President of Inn Foods in Watsonville, CA, announced today that sales for the custom frozen foods packaging company increased a record 15% during 2003 and totaled a record $72.5 million by year end. Randle also announced that Michael Montero has joined the company as Director of Import and Export Operations.
Randle added, "In our 27 years of business, we have enjoyed continual growth in sales volume. Our international operations have played a big part in that. That's one reason why we are pleased to have an individual with Mike Montero's experience and expertise with our company. He will manage all international product procurement, export sales and direct foreign sales for frozen products, as well as all related logistics."
Prior to joining Inn Foods, Montero was Regional Sales Manager for Fresh Care Technologies, Regional Sales Manager for Cool Care, Inc., a division of Dole Fruit, Director of Logistics for TransyStems/ProduceNet, and Director of Transportation and Logistics for Superior Foods.
Montero holds an Associate Degree from Cabrillo College, a degree in Industrial Design from San Jose State University, and a Certificate of Fruit Ripening from University of California - Davis Extension.
